The Wells Fargo Accelerator is a 100% virtual, nonexclusive program working to drive early-stage companies closer to success. As a financial institution, Wells Fargo believes in fostering a better future through faster, easier, smarter, and safer banking for the consumer and the financial services industry at large. With the launch of their accelerator program, they fulfill this belief by driving financial innovation forward and helping ventures to bring their ideas to market.

The Wells Fargo Accelerator is actively searching for new ideas for mobile, payments, digital marketing, security and authentication, advanced analytics, and infrastructure services. Applicants must exhibit an innovative product that is demonstrable, tested and ideally has existing customer experience. Being a remote program, applications from across the globe are welcomed and encouraged. Wells Fargo recruits founders who are looking for a lasting partnership with shared successes.

Founded in 2014, this 6-month long accelerator program guides startups towards the path to the Fortune 500 marketplace specifically in the financial services vertical. With the potential to earn up to $1MM in funding (with case by case negotiated terms) the Wells Fargo Accelerator offers coaching and mentoring, access to advocates, partners, executives, and investors. After successful graduation from the program, startups can continue to work with Wells Fargo on proof-of-concepts across multiple businesses. 

The program is embedded into the Wells Fargo’s organization and connected to the Wells Fargo portfolio of businesses. As a startup positioned in financial services, this program will teach you what it takes to immerse yourself in enterprise systems and become an integral part of the corporate stack.

The Wells Fargo Accelerator has received more than 3,200 applications from over 100 countries since inception. There are currently over 25 companies in the accelerator portfolio.
